Hapag-Lloyd’s presence in the UAE market since 1980 reflects our continued commitment to the growing market in the Middle East. In 2012 we established our own agency office in Dubai to develop more direct contact with  our valued customers in the region. Hapag-Lloyd Agency LLC represents the Emirates of Dubai, Sharjah, Ajman, Fujairah, Ras Al Khaimah and Umm Al Quwain, whereas our Abu Dhabi office is represented through an agency office.

In addition to our Hapag-Lloyd Agency LLC office, Dubai is also home to the Hapag-Lloyd Middle East Office which manages countries in the Middle East & Indian Sub Continent.

Our Global network serves our customers through weekly main line vessels connecting Dubai (Jebel Ali) for imports & exports of the Arabian Gulf with Europe (ENC, MED & NAF), Asia (China, Far East, South East Asia & Oceania) as well as North and South America.
