UAE - Revision of Bill of Lading Amendment Fee (MAF)

To improve documentation quality and on-time invoicing, we will change the implementation of the Bill of Lading Amendment Fee, MAF, which is defined as any alteration and amendment to the initial Bill of Lading or Sea Waybill on request of cargo interest.

Effective as from October 1, 2020, the MAF will apply from the first amendment, irrespective of the vessel sailing status, for exports from the UAE to all Intra-Middle East final destinations*.
