Saudi Arabia and Jordan – Online Booking Amendment Process

In line with the “Saudi Arabia Vision 2030” project embarked on by the Authorities in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and as part of our commitment to provide quality service to our valued customers, we are making changes to our current booking amendment process in Saudi Arabia as well as Jordan.

We are pleased to inform you that making online booking amendments is possible at Hapag-Lloyd.com.

Effective from August 16, 2020 you can submit online booking amendments either on Hapag-Lloyd.com or via INTTRA.
The following list are examples of booking amendments accepted:

• What and how to change?
  - Log into Hapag-Lloyd.com.
  - Under “My Shipments” or “List of Shipments” please choose the booking to be amended then click “Update Booking”.
  - Then click on “Edit Customs and Remarks” and type into the free text field your amendment instructions; for example, ‘Please roll to next vessel’ or ‘Add one more 20FT container’, etc.
  - Then click ‘Submit Booking”
  - There is no need to change any of the fields in the booking; the changes required are simply typed in the remarks section only.

- Record keeping under each individual booking so that nothing is missed
- Reduction of errors
- Faster response and turn times. Our target is within one hour from the time the amendment request is sent.
