Frequently Asked Questions

You will be able to see all the invoices in which your company is the Payer, which were not yet archived in our system. If you are not able to find a specific invoice online, it can be that this invoice is already archived in our system. In such cases we recommend contacting customer service. 

You can easily search and filter for specific invoices in case you receive too many invoices. It is possible to search by Invoice Number or Booking Number, for example. As well as filtering by invoice status, payability and date range.

As of now only the invoices linked to your account are displayed. Having said that, we are working on a solution to also allow agents/3rd parties to visualize invoices.

From the moment an invoice is paid, until the moment Hapag-Lloyd recognizes the payment it can take a couple of days. This is due to bank processing times, as well as the time needed for payment reconciliation in our accounts.

It can happen that an invoice was created but a copy is not yet available for download online. In such cases, we recommend trying again in a few hours. If the problem persists, please contact Hapag-Lloyd's support.

If you have a dispute, please open the Dispute Form to submit the dispute. In the near future, however, we will integrate the dispute submittion with the Invoice Overview.

If an invoice gets cancelled, the status of this invoice will be displayed as "Cancelled", and the new invoice will be also added to the list.

Yes, all credits/reversals that were addressed to your account, and not yet archived, are displayed in the overview.

No, you will still receive all the invoices as usual via email. However, now you also have the chance to check and download them online, in case you have missed original invoice.

Yes, even though you are set up for EDI invoicing, the invoices will still be available in the Invoice Overview.

Our team at Hapag-Lloyd will manually check if the Shipping Guarantee (SHGU) has been purchased for both bookings. If the SHGU has only been purchased for one booking, merging the two bookings into one MTD document unfortunately can't be processed any further.
