コンテナリゼーション草創期の1971年、ドイツ船社ハパック ロイドは、イギリス・日本の船社と共にトリオ(TRIO)グループと呼ばれるアライアンスを結成し極東／欧州サービスを開始しました。

現在ハパック ロイドはTHE Allianceの主要メンバーとして日本から欧州、北米、中南米そしてアジアの各港を網羅する、高品質なコンテナ輸送サービスをお客様に提供しています。

ハパック ロイド ジャパンは1964年にその総代理店として業務を開始しました。現在は東京に本社、名古屋・大阪に支店を置きお客様のグローバルな輸送ニーズをサポートしています。

Hapag-Lloyd Japan has a long history; the liner service started in 1886 via Hong Kong. In 1971, with the early years of containerization, Hapag-Lloyd as german Carrier, as well as British and Japanese shipping companies formed an alliance called TRIO-group, and started a Far East/Europe service. Today, we are one of principal members of THE Alliance, offering high quality container transportation from Japan to Europe, North America, Central and South America and Asia.

Originally, Hapag-Lloyd Japan started its business as sole agent in 1964. Today, we are located in Tokyo as main office, Nagoya and Osaka serving as branch offices, assisting customers for their containerized global transportation needs.
