Kuwait - Requirements for B/L Processing

To accurately process your Bill of Lading faster, it is mandatory to provide the following basic details in the appropriate fields of your Shipping instructions:

• Party Details – Shipper / Consignee / Notify Party with complete details including Address / City / Country / Telephone number & Email address.
• Cargo Details – Complete description for all containers with correct piece count, weight details (Gross / Net) and volume (CBM).
• Seal – Seal numbers are mandatory to complete the Bill of Lading and to avoid any additional charges at destination.
• Freight Terms – Kindly identify freight terms accordingly as collect or prepaid for all charges including SEA Freight / Destination charges / Origin charges.

In the absence of the above information, there will be a delay in processing your Bill of Lading drafts until all relevant details are properly received.

Please be aware that an amendment charge will apply for any correction request received after 2 days of vessel sailing from the Port of Loading.
