Within our 'Import' section we provide you with all relevant import information of a certain transport.

Note: The displayed Import information is real-time information and reflects the exact data basis which our employees in the office are working with.
For security reasons we provide full access to all transport details only if you are defined as an Import relevant transport party within the respective booking (customer, consignee).
For all other bookings you will only see rudimentary information. The full details are reserved for the customer / consignee of the booking.
For users with insufficient access rights, some fields will be left empty or will not be displayed at all.
If you do not have all authorizations for the services above you can request them via My Account. More information on how to request your authorizations you find within this user guide in the section My Account.
You may obtain your import information per document, per container or per booking.
Just enter the document number, container number or booking number into the respective field and press 'Find'.
All Import information accordingly to your authorizations will be displayed.
Note: If you search per container number, the data of the latest booking will be displayed in which the container is involved.
Within the transport information you find details of the transport type on export and import side.
The transport type gives you information about the place where the cargo is to be handed over to the shipper.
- LCL: Less than container load
- FCL: Full container load
- HOUSE: On Import side. The container is shipped under carrier’s haulage and will be delivered to your premises.
- RAMP: On Import side. The container will be delivered to an inland rail ramp.
- PORT: On Import side. The container is delivered to the port of discharge.
In this section you find several buttons that lead you to detailed information of your transport:
This button leads you directly to the tracing information for the containers belonging to your transport.
Note: To access the tracing data you need to be a registered user of the Tracing service. More details on that you can find within the User Guide section My Account.
This button leads you to the rate of exchange for import charges. The information will only be shown if you have been defined as a party within the transport.
This button leads you to the customs reference and the latest status.
This button leads you to the defined import transport parties (e.g. cargo release office, shipper, consignee). The information is only visible if you have been defined as a party within the transport.
In this section you will find the planned routing data of your transport.
Note: To view the actual movements use the button 'Tracing' on top of this page.
Shows you the planned kind of move of the container e.g. Load, Discharge, Arrival, Departure.
Shows you the location where the planned move will be proceeded.
Shows you the means of transport. In case the vessel is the means of transport the vessel name is shown.
Shows you the schedule voyage number. It will be displayed for transport mode vessel only.
In this section you find the container release information. The release place is the place where the container will be handed over to the merchant.
In case of carriers haulage, Hapag-Lloyd will pick up the container from this place to deliver it to the customer premises.
By selecting a row of the table and pressing the 'Details' button you can get directly to the Terminal details screen for more information about the release terminal.
Shows you the Pick up reference of your container. It will only be displayed if you are defined as a transport party within the transport.
Shows you the date from which on the container can be picked up.
Shows you the possible release location.
Shows you the possible release place.
Shows you the company that will pick up the container. Normally this is your trucker.
Shows you the date and time when the demurrage free time ends.
As long as the containers are not arrived at the release location an informational message will be displayed saying 'not yet available or * '.
Note:
Exception 1: In some case the Demurrage last free day will not be calculated and therefore not displayed. In such case, please contact your local responsible Hapag-Lloyd office.
Exception 2: For the following countries and geographical regions the calculation is combined for both detention and demurrage, and the result of the calculated free time is displayed in the field ‘Detention last free day’:
Black Sea, Caribbean, China, Ghana, Indian Subcontinent, Latin America, Mediterranean, Mexico, Myanmar, Nigeria, Oceania, Russia.
In this section you find the transmission information of your Arival Notices. You can download them here as PDF-files within 28 days after their creation or update.
Note: Only the e-mail receiver of the Arrival Notice is able to download it.
Shows you the initial receiver of the Arrival Notice.
Note: This data will only be displayed if you are defined as a party function within this transport.
Shows you the creation or update date of the Arrival Notice.
Shows you the transmission medium of the Arrival Notice, e.g. E-mail, Fax.
If you are the e-mail receiver of the Arrival Notice you are able to download it. Therefore select the row containing the desired document and click the 'Download' button below the table.
Note: The Arrival Notice is available for download only within 28 days after creation or update.
In this section you find information about your Bills of Lading.
Shows you the type of your Bill of Lading. Possible documents: Original or Sea Waybill.
Shows you the number of cargo items that are documented on that Bill of Lading.
If you are a registered Invoice download user you have the possibilitiy to download your invoices. Therefore select the row of the respective invoice and click at the button. You will be forwarded to our Invoices section.

In this section we provide you information about your container and its cargo.
Shows you the container type as it is defined in the UN catalog.
Shows you the total number of pieces packed into the container.
Shows you the total weight of the container.
Shows you the measurement of the Gross Weight. KGM = kilogram.
This button will be displayed onliy if you have been defined as a party within the transport. By clicking it you will be forwarded to our Cargo details section showing all details of the cargo of your transport.
This button leads you to the general Container details.
Here you find information about the planned redelivery of the empty container to the Hapag-Lloyd depot.
Shows you the date and time when the detention free time ends.
If it is not available yet an informational message will be displayed saying 'not yet available or * '.
Note:
Exception 1: In some cases the Detention last free day will not be calculated and therefore not displayed. In such case, please contact your local responsible Hapag-Lloyd office.
Exception 2: For the following countries and geographical regions the calculation is combined for both detention and demurrage, and the field ‘Detention last free day’ shows the result of the combined calculated free time:
