Legal Internship

After completion of the first state examination, Hapag-Lloyd AG offers interested trainees the op-portunity to fill the compulsory station and / or the elective station in the company as well as be-coming familiarized with the occupation of an in-house counsel in an international organization Group. Our trainees are actively involved in the legal day-to-day business.

You either support the legal area, which provides council for the Hapag-Lloyd AG in all legally relevant processes. Areas of responsibility are corporate law, commercial law, Labor law, trans-portation law and merchant shipping law as well as contract law.

Or you will be active in Corporate Insurance Risk Management, which is responsible for insur-ance-related risk management at the Company. Areas of expertise include national and interna-tional transportation law, merchant shipping law and insurance law as well as project monitoring and contract review from a liability and insurance point of view.
